Tardy Weekend Update

All little late but better than never! 

Saturday was a big day.  It started with this!

 

I was up at 7 am outside in my pjs snapping pictures like a crazed idiot.  We used to get 2 or even 3 decent (3+ inches) snows a year.  (Stop laughing, Colorado.)  But thanks to global warming, it's a big event when get the 1 inch we had Saturday.  This is the first real accumulation we've had in maybe 5 years.

Shawn and his Dad went to pick up our bedroom furniture (yea!) while I stayed at home to clean out the old dresser and chest (boo!).  Our living room was totally trashed b/c everything in the bedroom had to be moved (We won't even talk about the dust full grown man-eating rabbits bunnies this stirred up).   I only got to see the new dresser and chest unloaded before it was off to my Grandmothers for our first session in writing her memoirs.   I got back in time to slap some stuff back into the new dressers and make the bed, which Shawn had assembled in my absence.  Then it was off to some friends for pizza and crafting (how fabulous a combination is that?!).  Back home, I found--a sparkling house and a fire in the fireplace.  I don't know how but Shawn single handedly reassembled the bedroom into order, reclaimed the living room, and made peace for all mankind.  Well, maybe not the last part but hey, he was on a roll!
