Crafty ADD

Start-itis has come to visit.  It didn’t call before hand, but that’s not how it operates.  It just shows up, drops in.  “Put down the baby blanket,” it urges.  “You’re not having any fun with that cross-stitch.  Come on.  Start something new.  See how good that feels?”

And so help me, it does.

I can’t stop combing websites for fresh patterns, intriguing designs, and beguiling yarn. I know Start-itis lies.  It tells me there are always enough hours in the day and that chores will obligingly take care of themselves. 

Must… not… give… in.

My crafty backlog is already, well, backlogged.  At this point, I may need to consider a leave of absence from the day job.  But since that might put a dent in the craft budget, it will be a last resort.
